Hi, I’m Maile.

A woman with long dark hair, smiling and crossing her arms, wearing a bright yellow sports bra, standing in front of a white paneled wall.

I became a personal trainer because I know what it’s like to be underestimated in a gym.

I was a competitive gymnast, swimmer, and rower in my teens and twenties. After becoming a mom, I wanted to regain my strength. But the trainer I worked with steered me toward weight loss instead—a valid goal, just not the one I was after.

That experience shaped my approach. I offer training that supports your goals, your body, and your long-term health.

It’s a philosophy grounded in my own journey. Over the years, I’ve navigated pelvic floor challenges, improved bone density, and continued training as my body moves through midlife. Strength training has been a key part of that process—not just physically, but in building resilience and confidence.

Now, I want to help you build strength and movement capacity that supports both performance and longevity—so you can keep doing what you love, for life.

Currently accepting a small number of clients to train at my home gym in Redwood City, CA.
